Monday Madness
Well, I've accomplished quite a few of my goals since my last post (achingly long ago). I live in San Francisco now. I didn't exactly go to South America to rebuild indigenous villages, but I worked for a non-profit whose sole goal was to raise the quality of life in Guatemala. I worked for the Obama campaign! I worked for Equality Virginia, trying to bring about a little more justice. I pierced my nose. I dyed my hair several times and moved its length about. I owned a pink scooter for a bit, but sold it (to a good friend) when I moved to CA. I began hula hooping and weaving and doing bikram yoga. I am going to college in Boston starting this fall and I'm transitioning from vegan to raw.
New Goals.
-Do the Icing Transformation Challenge
-Move to at least 50% raw
-Exercise every day
-Put myself in new, wonderful situations as often as possible
-Set up my etsy shop (homemade hula hoops and hand-woven scarves, ahoy!)
-Begin posting more regularly to the blog
-Dress with a sense of beauty and artistic intention
-Spend more time at the beach
-Work on long-distance relationship with the boy
-Live my dream life.

C-C-Christmas!

The Royal Tenenbaums isn't exactly the picture of perfect family cheer, but I still love it and I watched it for about the 6 millionth time right after we finished opening presents. Sometimes I forget how much I want to be Margot; she's ridiculously glamorous (something that is really hard to be as a high school student). Oh, a big faux fur coat and a long cigarette holder. I wish, I wish. Merry Christmas.

Monday Mania
Not only is this a fabulous song, but there's a bunny hopping around and everyone looks too cool to breathe.

Saturday Sweets
Things I Love:
Vintage luggage, constellations, water lilies, pumpkin pie, elf boots, neat and satisfying equations, diptychs, sparklers, Polaroid cameras, rumbling voices, freckles, bird houses, clothes on the line, expansive landscapes, handwriting analysis, awe inspiring places, gratitude, radiators, flower garlands, jingle shells, whispered thoughts, painted ceilings, grandfather clocks, window seats, the cold side of the pillow, hammocks, record players, peacock headbands, wingtip shoes, locally grown produce, squatters' rights, massages, packed club concerts, rainy days, big windows, tire swings, ticket stubs, buttercups, white russians, bonfires, swimming at night, SF MoMA, train hopping, ear muffs with built-in headphones, hula hooping, teepees, opera length gloves, nightingale floors, tea sets, marionettes, lacquer boxes, russian nesting dolls, easels, sunny days spent lying on the grass, someone who heals my hurts, sea glass on the beach, pussy willow branches, loving someone for their imperfections, cultural movements, recognizing patterns in nature, appropriate silence, not being able to feel where I end, people who approach life with joy, butterfly kisses, home.
